When things become hectic or overwhelming we tend to shut down and forget the things that may help us. Making lists are a great way to remind ourselves of what to do when things get frenzied. A list can give us reminders and some structure, so make a few lists.
Here are a few list to get you started:
- List of things I can do when I am overwhelmed
- List of people I can call and ask for help
- List of things that give me hope
Like grocery shopping, we make a list of items we need to purchase. If we go shopping without a list we may forget things we needed.
